肝臟星形細胞是小葉內結締組織細胞,呈現肌成纖維細胞樣或脂肪細胞形態。他們參與肝臟細胞外基質的穩態,修復,再生,纖維化以有控制視黃醇的代謝,存儲和釋放。肝臟受傷后,肝臟星形細胞轉化成肌成纖維細胞樣,并且是纖維化的肝臟中 I 型膠原的主要來源。除了以上特征,已發現在疾病狀態和肝內門靜脈高壓的發病過程中,肝星狀細胞通過細胞收縮調節肝臟微循環[1,2]。星形細胞的增殖、遷移和趨化因子的表達參與了肝臟炎癥和纖維化的發病過程。因此,星形細胞激活的分子調控在將來有助于治療肝纖維化,并且能減少慢性肝病患者的發病率和死亡率。
Sciencell研究實驗室的人肝星形細胞是從人肝臟組織中分離得到的,原代凍存,冰凍運輸。每管細胞密度超過5×10^5/ml。人臍靜脈平滑肌細胞經desmin 和α-actin免疫熒光鑒定。本細胞經檢測不含HIV-1、HBV、HCV、支原體、細菌、酵母菌和真菌。如采用ScienCell 實驗室特制的培養基,可保證此細胞15倍增增殖。? ?
